The Challenge
The Kruzer Ultraverse is not a single brand — it's a franchise ecosystem spanning an AR MMORPG game, a blockchain creator platform, a hardware product line, and a flagship corporate identity. Each sub-brand needed to feel distinct while operating coherently within the same visual universe.
No single agency had been able to manage this scope. Kruzer needed a team that could handle brand strategy, digital design, physical merchandise production, 3D visualisation, video production, event design, and social media — simultaneously, on retainer. TDS DaaS built the system to do exactly that.
Our Approach
TDS DaaS approached the Kruzer Ultraverse as a franchise creative architecture challenge. We established a brand hierarchy — with EkRuzer as the flagship and Squad Legacy, Ultraverse, UltraStream, Arc Commander, and Obsidian as structured sub-brands — each with their own visual language while sharing a coherent franchise DNA.
Brand guidelines were produced for each sub-brand, with a cross-brand architecture document establishing hierarchy, shared visual language, typography, colour, and motion standards. This created a system flexible enough to expand as new products and platforms are introduced.
Beyond identity, TDS managed the full creative production pipeline: website UI, 3D asset creation, merchandise design through to physical manufacturing, advertising photoshoots, video production, PAX Melbourne expo design, and ongoing social media across Instagram, TikTok, X, and Discord.
4 distinct brand identities — EkRuzer, Squad Legacy, Ultraverse, UltraStream, Arc Commander, and Obsidian — with cross-brand architecture and shared visual language.
Apparel (t-shirts, hoodies, caps), collectibles, and packaging — designed by TDS and coordinated through to physical manufacturing.
Full expo booth design, display materials, event print production, and live event visual assets for PAX Melbourne — Australia's leading gaming expo.
5-page Ultraverse platform website with Web3 and NFT landing page UI, plus 3D asset creation for game materials, product visualisation, and world-building elements.
