Careers at TDS

Build something
worth building.

TDS DaaS is a design studio with a real commercial model — a growing subscription client base, ambitious briefs, and a senior team that takes the craft seriously. We're building the leading Design as a Service practice in Australia, from Sydney and Ho Chi Minh City.

Why TDS

What makes TDS different as a place to work

Real Creative Variety

TDS works across brand identity, graphic design, motion, web, video, and photography — for clients spanning technology, financial services, professional services, and property. No specialising in one boring category for years.

Senior Leadership, Not Junior Management

Every account is run by a Creative Director. Designers at TDS work under senior creative leadership and have access to CD feedback on every project — a rarer development opportunity than most studios provide.

Stable, Scalable Business Model

Subscription clients provide predictable revenue, which means predictable team stability. TDS doesn't hire for a pitch win and retrench after a campaign. The model is built for consistent growth.

Two Extraordinary Cities

Sydney and Ho Chi Minh City — both genuine creative cities with distinct design cultures. TDS team members work within an integrated international studio, not an isolated local office.

Meaningful Client Work

B2B growth-stage businesses are interesting clients. The problems are real, the stakes are commercial, and the work — brand identity, pitch decks, web, campaign — is the kind of design that moves businesses forward.

Clear Career Progression

TDS has a defined seniority framework — Designer, Senior Designer, Creative Lead, Creative Director — with clear competency expectations at each level. Progression is based on demonstrated quality and capability, not tenure.

Our Standards

What TDS looks for

Every TDS designer produces work that reaches senior Australian business clients. The bar is high and intentionally so.

Portfolio Quality

Work that demonstrates genuine strategic and aesthetic intelligence — not templates dressed up, not trend-following for its own sake. We want to see brand problems solved thoughtfully and executed at a standard that could sit alongside the best Australian agency work.

Craft and Precision

Typography set with care, layouts with intentional hierarchy, colour applied with purpose. TDS deliverables are reviewed by a Creative Director before every client delivery — the production standard has to be there before review, not after.

Commercial Orientation

Understanding that design serves business objectives. TDS designers know why an asset exists, who it's for, and what it needs to achieve — and those answers shape their creative decisions.

Reliability and Communication

TDS runs to tight SLAs for subscription clients. That requires designers who deliver on time, communicate proactively when timelines are at risk, and operate without constant supervision.
